Congrats to Ultroman!

You should had gotten your coe for Cat A as it only increase a mere $1110. Certainly without the margins of AF.

Well, no need to rely on salesman to call.

You can check your bid at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

It shows how much they bid for you. You have to check soon otherwise LTA will reset the info.

i drive a diesel new face lift 3008 and a diesel 2.2D Jag XF. happy to have changed to diesel.

i have to admit the lion's auto/manual transmission is not great compared to the jaguar's full ZF auto.

mine is before 2014 version .. consider pre-facelift? Very Happy
according to the SE, lion's diesel "filter" is longer lasting than other brand.. only need replace at about 200k..not sure if that's true.. but surely save a lot on fuel..

Just wondering if the diesel fc is really 23.3km/l Smile

for the 3008 1.6 eHDi at 60 liters, 40 city/60 highway, i get 900km.

for the jag 2.2 TD at 70 liters, 20 city/80 highway, i get 800km.

you will never get the lab tested manufacturer figures. but obviously the jag drinks more due heavier car and i am heavy on the pedal.

fellow drivers have easily hit 1000-1200km per tank running up north on the highways.

not really as diesel variations here in asia is not as good as EU.

i just stick to mainstream brands like Esso and Shell.

a few fellow jag diesel drivers have mentioned SPC stuff a tad dirtier on the filters and higher fc.

even though our lions diesel engines are rated to use MY diesel, i normally say mix a bit. don't wait till totally dry before top up in MY.

Regarding MY diesel , the SA told me if pump often , will need change the particulate filter every 100k instead of 200k.

Jus wonder how much the particulate filter costs

my cars all under warranty.

workmanship probably cost more than filter in reality..lolx

but if you take back to AF it will cost a few hundred bucks at least cos no workshop will just change a filter.. there will be some servicing required.
