Nope. Mine is a 308 Gti.

Just joined the Peugeot family few months back.

A car forum should be a family where we know new friends too.

Hi all,

I am contemplating getting the 3008 1.6 ehdi. I have been cautioned by alot of people about peugeot reliability and high maintenance cost.

Appreciate if those who own one can share their personal experience with it.

This car is my shortlist.

Peugeot has improved a lot over the years but of course they are no Germans.

Buy Diesel vehicles if your annual mileage exceeds 40,000kms. Otherwise not worth the extra road tax and low power engine.

Congrats !!!
Good to have more 3008 on the road.

Should not have any problem to secure COE based on AF bidding experience.

You can also check your bidding price with your IC no. at one of the website. (can't recall now)

Er... I thought if you don't receive call from SA on that evening means you don't get it?
I have to call him?

If you know the OMV of the car, you can calculate if they will be sucessful eventually.

(Purchase price) - (omv x 2.27) = Gross Profit

This amount in profit if more than current COE price, you are likely to get your bid.

If your car qualify for CEVs rebate, that is additional profits for AF. So you can add it into the COE bid amount. Very Happy

The bottom line is they have huge profits.

Oh... I see... With current COE at 62K, there seems like little profit to them. No wonder.... I get it now. So if the price continue to be at this level, and guess I have to kiss my 3008 goodbye.

Sad

Guys, I was down at Republic earlier, and I saw a blue 3008 on sale. The salesgirl recommended me to this car over the 2011 Golf. Cost for this 2012 jan adventure at 112k. ( wow!)

Anyone knows the owner of this blue 3008? If I couldn't get my COE after the 6th bid, I may go for used car instead.

Sgcarmart list the 3008 1.6 THP at $144K. If assuming OMV is 28K, AF cost is about $64K, that leaves $80K for COE. So I think you should get your car.

The emission is 182g per km, so no CEVs to complicate the prices.
