I don't appreciate their 'wait if you want to buy a VW' attitude.

Haha that was how Borneo Motors salespeople were like back in the day...

Even now Borneo sales people are more or less the same. Just a shade better.

A month back I was at Leng Kee Showroom to view their FT86. When I walked into the showroom the sales lady was quite eager to serve but when she heard that I wanted to see the FT86, her mood changed.

I realised she has no clue about the FT86. I can see that she was so relieved when I greet her goodbye.

I drove a golf tsi 7dsg for 2yrs and I don't think I will touch 7dsg again. A few friends experienced same issues and now in vagsg they are still talking about it. And people are still buying!

That aside, golf was a nice drive and I actually feel sad it is not reliable enough for me to keep

Should be fine. Just a matter of expectation. Very Happy

The 508 is my 2nd French car where I swear I will never touch French cars after a Citroen C5 scare the shit out of me back in 2004.

Congrats! I got mine too! My 508SW should also be on the same ship as yours. Very Happy
Enjoying the last 3-4 weeks with my 307SW.

BTW, been owing the pugs for more than 10 years and also still owning a sister make Citroen C4, this 508SW will be my third Pug (previous pug: 206 & 307SW). For those comtemplating on getting a pug or french car, just go for it. Every make has its own idiosyncrasy but not every make has flair like the Pugs. Thup

Yes, agree totally. The 508 / 508 SW manifests some DNA of Audi A6 and the Jaguar XF in some of its styling. Yet, it is still truly and surely a French Lion.

Time for the cat (Jag) to jump thru the 4 rings ...
